From the get go, the objective was to make things that could be and should be sharp, sharp again. But like most topics, the journey to some understanding is filled with lots of personal opinions, anecdotes and falsehoods.

With an education in engineering and time spent in the trades as a butcher, I learn’t two things, how to make things repeatable and what a truly sharp edge felt like. Long story less long, 18 months after starting the journey, Mo Sharp reached a point of near completion… further refinement at this stage required deployment… it was near perfection… but to get close to perfection is merely an indication the journey has only just began, and so each and every day while out sharpening a new learning experience in the tendencies of steel at the apex and the habits of their users.
